Internal Logistics Coordinator
Location: Aberdeen
We are seeking an experienced Internal Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Aberdeen. As a key member of our logistics department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
Booking Courier Collections and Special Deliveries:
Coordinate courier collections and special deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
Daily Goods Check:
Regularly review the goods-to-be-shipped folder to verify that items are leaving on schedule.
Customer Communication:
Contact customers upon order completion, providing details such as weights, dimensions, and commercial invoices.
Returns Processing:
Handle returns efficiently through coordination with stores.
Goods Receiving:
Book in goods received from suppliers promptly.
Timely Shipment Verification:
Conduct general checks to ensure goods are being shipped on time.
Additional Logistical Paperwork:
Assist with any other logistical paperwork required by stores or the sales team.
Customs Experience:
While prior experience with export/import procedures is advantageous, full training will be provided.
Requirements:
Proven experience in logistics coordination.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication abilities.
Familiarity with customs procedures (preferred).
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
