Key Responsibilities

  1. Create engaging and comprehensive lesson plans and curricula based on prescribed texts and materials.
  2. Work with colleagues to share effective teaching strategies and classroom management techniques.
  3. Deliver engaging lessons across various mathematical topics, such as algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
  4. Evaluate student work, including exams and assignments, and communicate progress to parents and faculty.
  5. Organize guest speakers, events, and educational trips to enhance the learning experience.
  6. Stay updated on trends in mathematics education and continuously expand professional networks.
  7. Ensure adherence to all relevant guidelines and provide extra support for students who need it, as well as additional resources for those excelling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Relevant teaching certification or licensing as required.
  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and create engaging lesson plans.
