As a Trainee Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of vehicle security systems, including car alarms, trackers, and speed limiters. This position requires a candidate who is not only technically proficient but also willing to travel within the UK and internationally as needed. The ideal candidate should hold a valid UK driving license, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be adaptable to a flexible work schedule. While formal qualifications are not mandatory, we highly value a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn. The starting salary for the trainee positions is £26,000, with the potential to progress through my clients training program and continuous career development plans.
Job Role
- Install, maintain, and service vehicle security systems, including car alarms, trackers,immobilisers,and speed limiters, ensuring proper functionality and customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues related to security systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Conduct thorough system tests and quality checks to ensure all installations meet company standards.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer support teams to provide technical expertise and support to clients.
- Keep up to datewith industry trends and product knowledge to provide the best possible service to customers.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Skills & Experience required
- Valid UK driving license.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible work schedule, including occasional weekends or extended hours.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
