RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Conduct ongoing and enhanced due diligence for customers. Verify customer information, including identification, ownership structures, and business relationships.
- Assist in preparing for regulatory audits and reviews related to AML compliance.
- Participate in testing of new or updated AML monitoring tools and systems to ensure effectiveness and accuracy.
- Investigate alerts, both internal and external, conducting thorough analyses.
- Perform investigations on customer accounts, ensuring compliance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations.
- Monitor customer accounts in real-time, identifying and flagging suspicious patterns.
- Handle suspicious accounts and events following established company procedures.
- Monitor and analyze customer activity, preparing relevant reports for regulatory purposes.
- Assess and escalate cases as necessary to the appropriate department.
- Collaborate closely with IT, AML, and Payment teams to ensure alignment and resolve issues effectively.
- Interact with customers and draft responses to internal and external inquiries.
