Job Title: Purchasing and Logistics Assistant
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: £24,500

Principal Objectives:
The Purchasing and Logistics Assistant is responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective replenishment of all stock requirements. This role is crucial in maintaining adequate stock levels to meet internal and external customer service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:
- Order Management:
- Placing orders with suppliers.
- Confirming delivery dates and chasing overdue orders.
- Database Maintenance:
- Maintaining accurate internal databases, including prices and supplier details.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Liaising with couriers to coordinate shipments.
- Dealing with van stock inquiries from field staff and engineers.
- Stock Management:
- Ensuring adequate stock levels across all stores.
- Collaborating closely with the warehouse and engineers to ensure the correct delivery of parts.
- Supportive Duties:
- Performing other duties as required to support the Purchasing and Logistics team.

Skills and Experience Required (Essential):
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Computer literate with experience in Word, Excel, and database management.
- Customer Service:
- Proven customer service experience.
- Negotiation Skills:
- Effective negotiation skills to manage supplier relations.
- Performance Under Pressure:
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight
