Description
- Assist in the planning and trading of the season across all channels to maximise sales and profit.
- Analyse sales, stock, and forward order positions to identify risks and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and regularly update WSSI.
- Calculate accurate projections of sales and predict performance indicators.
- Collaborate with the buying team to ensure the range meets the needs of the customer and drives sales.
- Support the development and execution of promotional and product strategies.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Profile
A successful 'Assistant Merchandiser' should have:
- A degree in Business, Buying & Merchandising or analytics.
- Previous experience in a retail allocation role.
- Strong understanding of stock and inventory management.
- Strong Excel user with the ability to use advanced tools.
