We have an exciting opportunity for a Performance and Insight Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. For this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development of the Corporate & Strategic (C&S) segment and channel strategies through data gathering and analysis, leading to the generation of improvement ideas and translation to implementation plans. This role offers the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Solihull) approximately 1 or 2 days per week.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of governance frameworks and ensure existing frameworks remain fit for purpose, accounting for internal/external policy, regulations, and commercial & operational business requirements.
  • Support the management of data quality standards and integrity by working across all teams in the C&S segment and beyond to ensure data accuracy is maintained.
  • Monitor performance at segment, channel, and individual level against governance frameworks.
  • Contribute to the management of the change governance process, supporting colleagues across the C&S segment in raising and progressing change requests.
  • Support the delivery of commercial and operational change initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to identify these changes.
  • Facilitate in ensuring all customer communications are in place across customer journeys in a timely manner.

**What we need from you

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance tactical and strategic business priorities, as well as work to demanding targets and timescales and resilience to cope with change in a dynamic environment.
  • The ability to plan, report, govern and control associated processes.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret complex, multiple sources of data and insight to optimise financial performance, provide intelligent commentary and feed into strategic recommendations to inform critical business decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing perspectives, needs and priorities in an increasingly cost/investment constrained environment.

It would be great if you had

  • The ability to apply sound problem-solving techniques to improve processes to drive efficiencies.
  • Knowledge and experience of the energy industry, practices, and processes.
