Are you a Nursery Manager looking for an exceptional nursery environment?

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Manager to fulfil a full-time, permanent role within a nursery based in Portsmouth. This role is set to start as soon as possible.

The nursery is part of a wider nursery network with multiple locations across the UK. They believe in an environmentally sustainable and socially responsible world for all and aim to achieve this through educating the children of today so that in turn, they can influence future generations. The nursery also runs several extra-curricular activities including Forest school, cooking school, yoga and much more!

As the Nursery Manager, you will:

  • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly checks in the room and agreed action plans are completed effectively
  • Ensuring accident trends are monitored and actioned appropriately
  • Lead and manage your team and ensure they are motivated and trained as per their individual needs, ensuring this meets the needs of the unit.
  • Manage resources, organise routines and systems, communicate with senior management team
  • Be competent and effective with settling in profiles for children, alongside their short term, medium term and long-term plans, and next steps and learning journeys.
  • To be committed to the safeguarding of all children in the nursery and your direct care
  • Ideally have experience as a Nursery Manager

The salary for this role is currently set between £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.

For this role, a minimum requirement of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is required. All successful candidates will be subject to safety checks including DBS Checks.
