Your new role
As a Product Development Specialist, you will be instrumental in the entire product development cycle, from conception to commercialisation. You will work closely with customers, our Production and Commercial teams, and external partners to deliver solutions that enhance our market position.
You will lead the product development cycle, ensuring successful transition from prototype to market. Engage with customers to understand their needs and develop products that exceed expectations. Conduct laboratory testing and benchmarking to ensure the highest quality of our products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new market opportunities and drive sales. Develop technical specifications and datasheets, providing support throughout the product lifecycle.
You will also represent us at international trade fairs and exhibitions. Support off-site development trials to ensure our products meet the highest standards.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving, and the ability to quickly adapt and understand new concepts.Desirable qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, experience in a laboratory setting, preferably within the textile industry, a Science degree, and experience in New Product Development (NPD). Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations relevant to the chemical manufacturing industry is also advantageous.
