Working with a Global Consultants I am looking to recruit an Indirect Tax Manager - this is an opportunity with a fantastic / growing organisation who consistently strive for success having recently achieved awards from the Sunday Times, they are now a £450m Turnover business
Reporting directly to the Director of Transactional Finance you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end indirect tax process across the group. The role will support the Leadership team and the Transactional Finance employees. You will have one direct report.

Duties will include:
- Responsible for managing the Groups indirect Tax Compliance reporting, including:
o Directly managing the accurate and timely submission of VAT returns for our UK entities
o Overseeing the accurate and timely submission of VAT, SST, WHT through local third-party accounts / providers for non-UK entities
- Directly liaise with local third-party accountants in relation to any indirect tax query
- Responsibility for identifying indirect tax optimisation opportunities
- Identify and evaluate key indirect tax risks, ensuring effective risk management processes are operated and reported
- Communicate key VAT issues clearly and concisely to non-tax specialists and to influence and adopt necessary process improvements leading to the optimisation of the indirect tax process
- Provide indirect Tax advice and recommendations to the Operational Process Owners and support the Operations team on specific queries as necessary
- Maintain good technical knowledge and keep up to fate with legislation changes
- Reconciliations of indirect tax nominals
- Intercompany VAT Compliance
- Report on non-deductible VAT going to P&L
To be considered for this role you will need to be at least 2 years post qualified and have at least 5 years' experience in an indirect Tax role.
