As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing and enforcing the necessary checks and controls to maintain the safety and reliability of our fleet, ensuring full compliance with transport regulations. Safety is our highest priority, and you will need a strong understanding of relevant legislation and standards, working closely with internal specialists and regulatory authorities. You will also be tasked with enforcing strict security measures for property and products, while being available as an emergency call-out key holder when needed.

In addition, you will be expected to apply a comprehensive knowledge of legislation, safety protocols, quality procedures, and site operational guidelines in your day-to-day duties. Ensuring that all locations under your supervision comply with both company policies and external regulatory requirements will be key to maintaining operational excellence.

Customer satisfaction will be at the forefront of your decision-making, and you will provide the necessary training and resources to equip employees to deliver outstanding customer service across all areas of the cylinder business. Additionally, you will conduct performance evaluations in accordance with company protocols, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should possess proven people management and leadership skills, with the ability to organize resources according to customer needs and company service levels, as measured through KPIs. A solid understanding of current transport regulations and directives is essential. The candidate should ideally have a minimum of three years of experience in a management or supervisory role within a service-oriented environment, with financial experience being preferred. Knowledge of current employment legislation is necessary, and the candidate should be IT literate. Experience with ADR certification or hazardous goods is preferred, as is having a formal safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH. While a Management CPC is preferred, training will be provided for the right candidate.
