About us

We're looking for a Data Scrum Master to lead and facilitate our data teams, ensuring that our data projects are delivered efficiently and effectively, and that our teams are empowered to perform at their best.

Your Role

As a Data Scrum Master, you will help us to transform the way the RNLI manages its data and data product development by:

- Facilitating Scrums and ensuring the team adheres to Agile principles and practices.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and define data requirements and user stories.
- Providing leadership and support to the team, ensuring that we develop and maintain a best practice approach in the use of our dataops techniques and tools.
- Driving the adoption of Agile methodologies within the data team and championing the benefits this will bring to the RNLI.
- Removing impediments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Utilising tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage and track sprint progress and performance.

About You

We're looking for someone who has a sound understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices, and wants to share their skills with others, leading and developing a small but dedicated department. You believe in a growth mindset and are probably looking for the chance to use your in-depth skills and experience in an organisation where you can really make a difference and save lives.

You'll be:

- An effective team player with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Experienced in facilitating Scrums and coaching teams in Agile practices using tools like ADO.
