The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director and leading a, high calibre circa 30 strong, national sales and marketing team, your key task will be the development and implementation of the company's commercial strategy, to identify and prioritise new business opportunities whilst leading the team in the pursuit of greater profitability and performance.
Key tasks include: completing a detailed analysis of the market and existing customer base, identifying opportunities, gaining a thorough understanding of their requirements, producing, and presenting technical/commercial solutions at head office level, leading negotiations, and coordinating activities to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction.
The Person
The role calls for a hand's on and charismatic sales and marketing leader, an advocate and implementor of strong sales process, who can demonstrate the strategic and tactical skills to deliver outstanding commercial results.
Proven experience of successfully selling directly to end users and leading electrical wholesalers and distributors is essential.
Personal credibility, enthusiasm and a flair for communication are essential, but above all you will need to have vision, determination, and the ability to translate the changing needs of a demanding market into compelling and deliverable product and service solutions.
