About Us:
At Driver Hire, we are looking for dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our client's team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are picked, packed, and ready for delivery to the customers. Your efficiency and attention to detail will contribute to the timely coordination of warehouse stock and exceptional customer service.
Location: Crawley
Working Hours: 41 hours per week (average) Monday to Friday,
Shift Pattern: 08:00 - 17:30
Start Dates:
- 2 positions starting on 3rd June
- 6 positions starting on 10th June
Main Duties:
- Check and put away supplier delivered parts
- Accurately load and unload vans in a timely manner
- Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge
- Verify stock quantities against the computer system
- Ensure stock is stored in the allocated locations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Efficient work habits with excellent attention to detail
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Understanding the importance of customer service and meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry is desirable but not essential
