What you will be doing...

You will be responsible for mining and interpreting large data sets from relational databases, extracting valuable information to provide actionable insights. Your expertise will guide the team in understanding carrier performance, with a focus on metrics like service, geography, and product size. You will play a crucial part in supporting cost-saving initiatives, where your analysis will directly impact carrier margins and overall efficiency.

You'll also be critical in building and maintaining processes for invoice reconciliation and data-sharing methodologies with our network of carriers. You'll ensure the accuracy and integrity of our data-sharing processes, supporting seamless operations. In addition, you'll provide detailed insights into carrier performance for our clients, so that we can understand and identify areas for improvement. By reviewing and comparing budget forecasts with actual expenditures, you'll identify discrepancies and opportunities for cost savings.

Who are we looking for?

- You'll have previous experience in a data analysis role and will be used to sharing your findings internally
- You'll be an advanced user of Excel, and also have experience with SQL or other relational database query methodologies
- You're comfortable and experienced in handling datasets with >1MM records
- You're a good communicator and are able to simply complex data observations
- You're curious by nature and can use your investigative skills to dig into the detail
