We are currently looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join an established contractor, based in Letchworth Garden City, working on fit-out / refurbishment projects, mainly in the retail sector based across the UK. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for coordinating a range of works across multiple sites-based form head office with site visits across the UK whilst reporting back to the Associate Director.
It is envisaged that the successful Contracts Manager will have a retail / fit-out background, will be based within commuting distance of Letchworth and happy to travel for work.
Our client is looking for someone to start ASAP.

- Ensure that processes are in place to allow department operatives to efficiently perform their individual duties to a satisfactory standard.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and business partners, ensuring effective communication.
- Ensure all tender enquiries are handled promptly, and deadlines are consistently met.
- Manage and deliver client expectations carefully, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Regularly gather feedback from clients and take appropriate action to address any concerns raised.
- Oversee operations and workforce management on assigned projects, including the selection and coordination of subcontractors.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with company standards, as well as industry policies and best practices.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, including adherence to current legislation.
- Hold regular review meetings with the shopfitting and building services department.

Job Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role is essential
- Must have a knowledge of retail / fit-out works
- Local to Letchworth, Garden city and willing to travel
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- UK driving license
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Strong IT skills
