My client is looking for an interim Head of Finance to join their team for up to 6 months to help maintain their finance function whilst going through a period of change. This a pivotal role where you will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, stewardship, control, and reporting, line management, and engaging with various stakeholders and managing contracts.
The ideal candidate will have a CCAB qualification and have experience working in the Healthcare Industry in a similar position.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
? Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop financial frameworks, review performance, manage capital expenditure, and provide expert advice.
? Financial Stewardship & Control: Lead budget setting, maintain finance policies, oversee audits, and manage treasury.
? Financial and BI Reporting: Prepare management accounts, annual reports, and ensure compliance with NHS reporting.
? Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with employees, consultants, and insurers, and monitor the Finance Team's effectiveness.
? Contract Management: Manage contracts with NHS bodies, negotiate tariffs, and ensure accurate billing.
