The role:
- The Warehouse Manager carries overall responsibility for expediting the full supply chain of our Company's product lines, i.e. to manage the receiving process, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse at our unit(s), ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded.
- Overall maintenance of the depot, with responsibility for efficiency, cleanliness, and security
- Design, implement, and adhere to warehouse procedures, and in general terms oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency in all areas of warehouse operations, such as picking and loading, together with processes being followed, especially in respect of loading.
What are we looking for in you?
- A demonstrable career track record of success in Warehouse Management, (including team and people management, job scheduling, order allocations, and similar duties) in a fast paced environment, where multitasking and dealing with competing priorities effectively is a necessity.
- Experience within the hospitality/food industry or food related sectors, ideally covering multiple categories, would be a definite plus.
- Any relevant Qualifications, Memberships, or formal workplace Training in relevant areas such as Supply Chain or Logistics would be advantageous, as would practical skills such as FLT or other machinery licences.
PLEASE NOTE: Although this is a Days orientated role, the nature of the role means that the Warehouse Manager should be prepared to oversee and review the work of the Nights staff in person reasonably regularly – say every 6 weeks.
