Sous Chef Up to £32K Day Shifts only Outskirts of Colchester
We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Sous Chef to join an established brigade of talented chefs, at this beautiful café/restaurant on the outskirts of Colchester. This popular café is set in a small picturesque village in the beautiful Essex countryside, and attracts a large customer base to enjoy the traditional seasonal menu with modern British influences.
Our client is looking for a passionate Sous Chef with a strong background in a similar establishment/environment, working with fresh food in a busy kitchen, who is looking for the opportunity to learn and grown within the team.
You will be working in a brigade of dedicated chefs, you will have good knowledge of all sections, being able to run any section as required, with a real focus on creativity and producing high quality dishes.
As Sous Chef, you will ensure the food is produced to a consistently high standard at all times, assisting the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen, whilst keeping the fridges clean and organized, and food labelled and rotated as well as ordering stock and handling deliveries.
This position is for all day shifts, and will include weekend work, with days off given on a rotated basis.
