Residential Property Lawyer | Devizes, Wiltshire
The Role
A prominent firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join their team at their Devizes office on a full-time basis.
You will need to have excellent knowledge of, and experience in, leasehold and freehold purchases/sales, remortgages, first registrations and transfers of equity.
Their ideal candidate will also have experience in leasehold enfranchisement, shared ownership, right to buy, easements and the Building Safety Act, however training can be provided on these subject areas.
On a daily basis you will be responsible for competently dealing with a variety of matters from instruction through to completion with limited supervision. You will also be required to liaise and build relationships with both clients and referrers.
Other elements of the role involve partaking in business development activities and assisting with the training and supervision of junior colleagues.
The Team
Their Devizes office itself is home to 11 employees who work across their Family, Private Client, Residential Property and Risk & Compliance departments.
The Department
Their Residential Property department are based across all seven offices and overall encompasses 14 lawyers and 10 support team members.
You will be joining a friendly and supportive department who all have vast experience and backgrounds within the conveyancing practice area.
Their department has strong ties to the local community which aids a growing and loyal client base ensuring that your caseload will be diverse and of a high quality.
Your Experience & Qualifications
They are looking for a lawyer who has on-the-job experience of conveyancing transactions and running files, along with excellent client care and communication skills. They want an individual who prides themselves on giving a high-quality service to their clients.
You will also have strong attention to detail and be able to manage your workload.
