IT Infrastructure Project Manager - Outside IR35 - 6 months
IT Infrastructure Project Manager required for a 6 month assignment. The Project manager will be responsible for the full end-to-end management and delivery of numerous Infrastructure transformations, systems integration's and IT change projects utilising PRINCE2. I require someone with a strong technical background and someone who has the ability to turn their hand to all manner of Infrastructure projects.
The Project Manager will be involved in;
- Implementation of numerous centralised services inc Data Centre Re-location
- Cisco Network infrastructure upgrade and migration
- Desktop Upgardes, WAN review, WiFi refresh, Network, Backup / Restorations and 'off-site' relocation, Server Migrations, VMWare Upgrade, AD Security Remediations and VMWare Upgrade.
- Management of high-value, high-risk projects/programmes, with direct budgetary responsibilities.
- Stakeholder management, able to communicate and negotiate effectively and build partnerships with client representatives and stakeholders at all levels of business.
- Subcontractor management, managing and negotiating contracts and monitoring performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs through to completion.
- Commercial management, accurately plan, forecast and control P&L for complex projects and programmes within challenging internal financial structures.
- Extensive knowledge of structured methodologies, including PRINCE2, ITIL..
- Risk, issue and change management, assessing and proactively managing risks, issues and changes to maximise likelihood of successful delivery and profit.
- Planning and organisational ability, proficient in planning several concurrent projects.
- Resource management and development, appraising, mentoring and supporting personal development of individuals and teams.
Preference will be given to candidates who live a commutable distance. 2 days site based. Working Ltd Co.
