Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our team.

The successful candidate will lead the provision of support for students with special educational needs, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure inclusive practice and high-quality education for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and oversee the implementation of the school's SEN strategy and policy.
- Coordinate and manage SEN provision, ensuring compliance with legal and educational requirements.
- Conduct assessments and monitor progress of students with SEN, creating and reviewing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide professional guidance and support to teachers and staff on SEN matters.
- Liaise with parents, guardians, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Organize and deliver SEN training sessions for staff.
- Keep up-to-date with current best practices and legislation in SEN education.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant SENCO qualification.
- Extensive experience working with students with a range of special educational needs.
- Strong knowledge of SEN legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
- Commitment to promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
