A rare opportunity to join this design led online retailer, known for curating beautiful ranges for the Home. From sofas to artwork, our client prides themselves on creating simple, yet high quality and design led collections. Our client has boasted year on year growth and continues on a serious growth trajectory, including international expansion. This is a brand new role for the business and will include building systems and processes from scratch.

A new opportunity has arisen for a Merchandiser to join the team. It isn't necessarily essential to have already worked within the Furniture/Home categories but given this role offers remote working, you will need to be proven in operating in a virtual world. From collaborating to influencing and negotiating, your ability to drive performance whilst managing your time all on a remote basis will be of upmost importance in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise demand and sales for our premium homewares and furniture products.
- Oversee the Open-to-Buy (OTB) and seasonal buys, ensuring effective inventory management.
- Conduct regular reviews of Weekly Sales, Stock, and Intake (WSSI) to optimise stock levels and sales performance.
- Manage the production plan, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely delivery of products.
- Implement effective stock phasing strategies to maximise availability and minimise stockholding costs.

Requirements: - Previous experience in a similar role or merchandising is essential, as it provides a solid foundation.
- Proven track record in driving demand, optimising sales, and managing gross margin.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to forecast demand accurately and identify trends.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and techniques.
