We are working with a well-known Insurer who is looking for a talented Claims Assessor to join their dynamic team and play a crucial role in providing an excellent customer service and manage Claims in a timely, efficient and proactive manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing claims within the required service standards and in accordance with departmental objectives
- Operate within defined authority levels – Life Protection, Critical Illness and Disability benefits
- Handle and support complex customer and IFA enquiries, on the telephone and in writing
- Provide guidance to others in order to resolve queries using appropriate processes, systems and philosophy
- Produce accurate assessment of all claims using available records and systems and pursuits evidence in line with claims philosophy and practices
Qualifications and Skills:
- Claims Assessment experience across Life, Critical illness and Disability
- Excellent communication skills, confident to probe customers and share difficult messages in a clear and concise manner bother verbally and in writing
- Participate in learning and development to achieve a continuous and up to date understanding of market related products and processes
- Share knowledge with less experienced Team members
