Core subject Tutors and SEN tutors required for our lively tuition service that supports schools and local authorities across the UK with tuition. We are looking for passionate and experienced tutors to cover a wide range of subjects and specialisms across the school curriculum. We support children that have fallen behind, are currently not in education, or those who require additional help support and guidance with their learning.
Key responsibilities:
- To assess learners and create and deliver engaging lessons tailored to their needs and expected goals
- To support and nurture learning, exercising patience and care
- To manage the administrative aspects of tutoring, making arrangements with carers and students, managing your timetable and bookings and maintaining records of student's progress.
- To be responsible for safeguarding children and reporting any accidents or incidents
- To build student's confidence, helping them to achieve their goals
Minimum requirements:
- a UK recognised teaching qualification
- at least 2 year's UK teaching experience
- an enhanced DBS on the update service (or agree to apply for one through Remedy)
- an underlying and overwhelming passion for teaching and helping children to reach their potential
