The Procurement and Supply Chain Division at SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Buyer to join their international Manufacturing client on a full time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a medium sized procurement department, as part of the Categories team.

As a Buyer, you will manage your own portfolio of categories, and be responsible for all procurement tasks apart from the order management cycle.

Your daily duties will include:

- Contract management and creation.
- Completing tendering stages and risk assessments for either new supplier onboarding or product launches.

- Risk mitigation.
- Analysing supplier spends and performance against agreed SLA's to identify improvement opportunities and maximise relationships.
- Coordinating with key stakeholders during new product launches to ensure a smooth transition from concept through to delivery.
- Handling any escalated complaints or issues from the stock control department and resolving promptly ensuring the customer is satisfied with the end outcome.

The successful Buyer will ideally have experience working within a fast paced and demanding manufacturing environment. You will be confident understanding your departments financial objectives and identifying opportunities to improve categories profitability.

It is essential that you:
- Have the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders at all levels.
