Network Presales Principal Consultant (Inside IR35)
We are currently working with a leading consultancy who need someone with exceptional networking experience based around Fortinet and Cisco Meraki as well as the usual LAN/WAN, Wifi and security.
This is a national role so you will need to be prepared to travel across the UK, attending customer sites to ascertain their requirements and then build solutions accordingly, responsibilities include:
- Very strong technical knowledge of networking and connectivity, including
LAN, WiFi, WAN (including SD-WAN), and network security
- Good understanding of the
Fortinet and Cisco Meraki product
sets and offerings.
- Good commercial acumen, numerical ability and understanding the wider impact of making decisions.
- Excellent communications skills at all levels from C-Suite to engineering. Must be able to translate complex problems succinctly, accurately, and coherently to all types of stakeholder.
- Strong problem-solving nature, with the ability to examine a problem and involve the appropriate people at the appropriate time.
- You will be highly motivated and able to lead by example and participate in group activities and knowledge sharing with other team members, guiding others, and expanding their knowledge base.
- Excellent time management skills to effectively balance urgent demands and important strategic initiatives.
You will be working with various clients so you must have exceptional communication / customer service approach, be prepared to travel and spend time on clients sites, this could range from 1 day to all week...
