Reed are actively seeking Senior Night Care Assistants for a respite and dementia service located in Chorley.

The role of a Senior Care Assistant involves providing personal support to residents, coordinating with families and senior management, and overseeing care assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Responsibilities include managing residents' wellbeing, care plans, fostering independence and choice, and serving as an exemplary figure for the staff.

Applicants should be adept at adhering to legal and ethical guidelines, following the Health & Safety Act, maintaining records, conducting risk assessments, and cultivating therapeutic relationships.

The shift pattern consists of 12-hour shifts from 8pm to 8am, following a two-week rolling rota:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

I am looking for individuals who possess a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification and have a minimum of one year's experience in a senior care assistant capacity.
