Knight Knox is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Content Assistant to join our in-house marketing team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with sales, IT and marketing to deliver engaging, high-quality digital content while ensuring brand consistency across platforms. You will support the Knight Knox team by maintaining websites, executing email marketing campaigns, formatting content, and developing marketing collateral such as branding guidelines, brochures, and presentations.

Your key responsibilities:

Website maintenance: Format and update content on our WordPress website, ensuring consistency in layout, style, and branding.

HTML/CSS: Build and edit HTML code for emails and landing pages, implementing and troubleshooting HTML elements such as forms and images to ensure they function correctly.

Digital assets: Organise and develop digital assets, including images, banners, and documents, ensuring they are optimised for business use and aligned with branding guidelines.

Collaborate: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure the timely execution of content updates, digital projects, and marketing initiatives.

Quality assurance: Conduct thorough testing of digital content to ensure it displays correctly, functions as intended and meets quality standards across different platforms and devices.

Marketing collateral creation: Support the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, branding guidelines, and presentations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in building and troubleshooting HTML code, with a good understanding of CSS for styling.
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress, including content updates, managing themes and plugins, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with content management practices, including optimising for SEO and user experience
  • Understanding of on-page SEO elements, such as meta tags, keywords, alt text, and heading structures
  • Keen attention to detail with the ability to spot errors, inconsistencies, and optimise content for readability and engagement.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop and Visual Studio Code), familiarity with email marketing platforms, and a basic understanding of JavaScript.
  • 2-3 years of experience in digital content management, web development, or a similar role.
