Office based in Durham

37 hours per week

£12.90 to £16.14 per hour

Key purpose of job My client is a leading national business water retailer helping over 300,000 customers across the UK to benefit from the non-household water market. They're dedicated to helping businesses lower water use, be more water efficient and reduce costs - all which helped us earn Water Retailer of the Year 2021 and again in 2023. Their vision is to be the most customer-focused utility delivering value and efficiency in everything we do, making a positive difference to the environment and society. To fulfill many of the requirements of their customers they are required to submit operational requests to the Wholesalers in the Non-Household market. Wholesalers remain the owners of the water and sewerage assets including the networks and meters and are also responsible for many of the data items that ultimately drive customer charges. They are reliant upon Wholesalers to allow us to deliver excellent customer service. To ensure they provide an efficient service to their customers it is vital that they minimise the number of the operational submissions that are rejected by the Wholesalers. This role will play a pivotal part in helping them achieve its target of no more that 7% of operational requests being rejected. This will be achieved through a combination of quality checks, feedback and reporting of causes and themes of rejections. Feedback * Provide feedback on causes of rejections to Team Leaders to help build up the knowledge to prevent future rejections Challenge incorrect rejections * Review and challenge rejections where it is believed the rejection is invalid. Summary of causes and themes * Provide weekly summary reports on the causes of rejections to help them develop the necessary training material to address the issues identified.
