Role Responsibilities:

As a Site Agent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects. Your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Project Leadership: Demonstrating strong leadership skills to efficiently manage the site team, ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standards and within deadlines.
  2. Health, Safety & Quality Assurance: Upholding the highest safety standards and implementing quality control processes to ensure a safe working environment and the delivery of top-notch results.
  3. Project Planning: Collaborating with the project management team to develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  4. Client Relations: Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders to foster positive relationships and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Problem Solving: Proactively identifying and addressing challenges on-site, implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track and within budget.
  6. Contract Management: Assisting in the preparation and administration of contracts, managing variations, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  7. Progress Reporting: Providing regular updates on project progress, financial status, and any potential risks or delays.

Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  1. Educational Background: A degree in Civil Engineering or related field is essential.
  2. Experience: Proven experience as a Site Agent in civil engineering projects, ideally with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  3. Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating and inspiring on-site teams to achieve outstanding results.
  4. Technical Expertise: Sound knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, with a keen eye for detail.
  5. Health and Safety: A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations, ensuring the implementation of best practices on-site.
  6. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  7. Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve project-related challenges swiftly and efficiently.
  8. Organizational Abilities: Exceptional planning and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
