An opportunity to work at a well-established worldwide manufacturer and supplier of specialist equipment used in numerous industries worldwide.
Main duties:
As part of a 13-month fixed term contract, you will be responsible for the accounting and financial reports of their European organisations
The role:
- All financial and accounting activities
- Be responsible for month end closing and reporting
- Be accountable for all budgeting, planning and forecasting
- Ensure all employee expenses and payment runs are reviewed accurately
- VAT and other required filings
- Assistance with audits and reviews
- Balance sheets and bank recon
- Accurate processing of commissions
The candidate:
- Fluent in any European language a bonus but not a requirement
- Accounting qualification essential - ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent
- Experience working in a financial or accounting role required
- Great communication skills with the ability to communicate with other departments
- Excellent attention to detail as well as results focused
