Pertemps are working with a local distributor who are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team. Their busy stock room requires someone who is organized, efficient, and capable of handling various tasks, including heavy lifting and forklift driving. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Salary: £12.50 per hour
Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
You must have a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence to be considered for this role
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Management: Receive, check, and store incoming goods accurately.
Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to move and organize stock as needed.
Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
General Duties: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, assist with loading and unloading deliveries, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or stock room environment is preferred.
Forklift License: Valid counterbalance forklift driving license is essential.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
