Logistics Coordinator
Location: Ascot
Salary: £25,000
Hours: Monday to Friday
We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our AV Tech client based in Ascot as they grow their team. You will be managing and documenting the movement of goods in and out, taking ownership of the stock control and assessing returns.
The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of stock control within a warehouse environment and a keen interest in technology.
Responsibilities:
Take ownership and accountability of all stock
Receive and record deliveries and collections, updating systems/logs
Cover assess stock, customer returns/repairs, business operations, engineers spares and non-business related goods
Conduct monthly stock checks
Conduct POT (Power-on Test) on all monitors
Monitors returned for repair
Repackaging and re-labelling goods
Manage and control the ordering of spare packaging
Responsible for all carrier bookings for collection or dispatch
Maintain standard of safety and comply with companys health, safety and environment
To assist with the transport and delivery of equipment using the company vehicle when required.
To undertake any other duties reasonable to the job level as deemed appropriate by the Company
Person Specification:
Good working knowledge and experience of localised stock control, ideally within a warehouse environment
A keen interest in problem solving and technology. Proactive, analytical with excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong communication skills both verbal and written and numeracy skills, IT Literate, with an excellent understanding of Excel and a good understanding Word
Proactive with a positive attitude and a strong team player with good interpersonal skills. Good customer service skills, with the ability to work well with suppliers, customers and other team members
Hands on experience with CRM software (MS Dynamics in use)
High attention to detail and level of accuracy with an ability to perform well under pressure
Logical and organised, excellent at multi-tasking, able to plan and structure their day to achieve KPIs.
Ideally a car/van driver with a clean driving license
