Content Creator (Videographer/Photographer) Brierley Hill Salary up to £30k
A renowned online brand specialising in quality studio photo and filming equipment, is seeking a creative and talented individual to join their dynamic team. This is a newly created role in addition to their existing marketing team. In this role you will be a key member of the creative and marketing department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's online presence and engaging with audiences across various social media platforms.
About you:
This is an entry-level role that will involve assisting in basic video and photography tasks. We are looking for a self-motivated and creative individual, the role has lots of room for progression.
You will have an interest in marketing and the creative industry, knowledge of online retail would be a strong advantage.
About the Role:
- Help build and grow this brand. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about visual storytelling, has a deep understanding of social media trends, and can work independently to create compelling content that resonates with a broad audience.
- You will be responsible for spending an average of one day per week filming content for the brand. The remainder of your time will be dedicated to editing the footage into engaging content for platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and more. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing content ideas, writing scripts, researching social media trends, and continuously refining the content strategy to maximize reach and engagement and working with campaign team to ensure email marketing and social media posts are running. You will also look after blogs creation.
- Spend an average of one day per week capturing video content, including key features of the products features, lifestyle shots, behind the scenes
- Operate professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to ensure the best possible quality.
- Ensure all footage is shot with the final edit in mind, capturing a variety of angles and b-roll for social medias or longer video clip for Youtube
- May be required to travel for exhibitions or shows at times.
Content Creation:
- Develop and produce high-quality video or post or blogs content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Content Editing & Post-Production:
- Edit footage into short-form and long-form content for various platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and more.
- Reclip longer content into engaging shorts, optimized for different social media channels.
- Implement creative editing techniques, including color grading, sound design, and motion graphics, to enhance the final product.
- Test different hooks, titles, and thumbnail designs to optimize for engagement and virality.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in social media marketing and video content creation. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro). Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key skills we are looking for :
- You will develop your skills on the job; however prior experience would be beneficial
- Confident using professional camera equipment and lighting
- Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Premiere
- Familiarity with various social media platforms and their respective audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as confidence presenting in front of the camera
Working Hours: Office based Monday to Friday 09.00 am to 5.00 pm
