Are you a commercially focussed dynamic finance professional who enjoys partnering with the business to ensure maximum commercial return and have the credibility and gravitas to influence at the highest level?
I am recruiting an exceptionally high profile business partnering profile role with significant budget responsibility.
You will be akin to a Commercial FD albeit within a larger business so that all your responsibility is focussed on strategic growth and bringing the numbers to life to a none finance audience.
You will explore the business's strategic model in terms of its commercial offering to customers and run competitor analysis to enable decision making around the retention (of existing) and acquisition of new customers.
You will work closely with the C Suite presenting robust evidence based alternative strategies ( based on the mining of data) and be able to articulate the impact of such changes in the medium to long term.
You will be naturally inquisitive with an appetite to deep dive into the business to understand the complexity of different revenue streams and enjoy the process of building relationships with various stakeholders in order to build this knowledge, rather than simply relying on a spreadsheet in front of you.
You will be able to build relationships based on trust and delivery and have the necessary EQ to appreciate the inevitable give and take involved in these partnerships.
You will thrive in a fast paced environment and have natural mental agility in terms of managing a constantly evolving list of priorities. You will be able to summarise detail efficiently to the appropriate audience and manage expectations around delivery of more in depth analysis where required.
You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with considerable post qualified experience gained within commercial roles and can evidence extensive stakeholder management with a variety of different audiences.
This role is based in Bristol and offers hybrid working- 2-3 days in the office required. The business is exceptionally family friendly with a flexible approach to time at desk.
