  • Location: Manchester (Hybrid with site travel)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Part-time to Full-time (Flexible)

We are seeking a dedicated Apprenticeship Assessor and Trainer for L3 Business Administration to join a Manchester based training provider on a permanent basis.

This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning apprenticeship programmes. The successful candidate will have a teaching qualification, subject specialism, and ideally an assessor's award. Experience with e-learning portfolios and learning technologies is also required.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop and deliver outstanding apprenticeship programmes in line with Ofsted standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, conducting regular progress reviews.
  • Assess learners' prior knowledge and skills, guiding them through appropriate learning pathways.
  • Motivate learners to develop employability and functional skills alongside achieving their primary learning goals.
  • Manage administrative processes with high accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Comply with quality assurance and compliance systems to maintain high service delivery standards.
  • Commit to continuous self-development and service improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Essential teaching qualification and subject specialism.
  • Desirable assessor's award.
  • Experience with apprenticeships and teaching.
  • Familiarity with Virtual Learning Environment systems, preferably Google Classroom, or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of learners and work in partnership with local schools/colleges.
  • Competence in using learning technologies to enhance the learner experience.
  • Strong planning, assessment, and organisational skills.
