Our client, a recently refurbished luxury Hotel in Whitby, is seeking a Chef de Partie (CDP). The hotel stands out as a luxury accommodations leader and looks to be at the forefront of award-winning dining. The client is offering a salary between £28000 to £30,000 plus tronc depending on experience with a range of additional benefits!
What Does the Role Entail?
Step into a pivotal role as a passionate and hands-on Chef (CDP) working 10 or 12-hour shifts either on a 4-day week or a 5-day week. You'll be the main force working in one of the main restaurant teams, ensuring operational excellence in the Client's renowned site. You'll play a vital role in maintaining high standards and contributing to the world of fine dining with a dedicated approach to customer care and service. The client's two restaurants are led by an AA rosetted head chef and they will teach you creativity, precision, and excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What skills will you have?
Ideally, you will have prior experience in a similar role as a CDP within the luxury hotel sector, to give you an understanding of the industry's specific demands. While appreciating tradition, you should exhibit a forward-thinking mindset and adaptability to the demands of a high-volume operation. Your proven expertise in Restaurant practices, including organisational skills, positive attitude, and excellent customer service skill-set, will be key to your success. A creative and innovative mindset, coupled with exceptional communication skills are qualities the client values in the ideal candidate.
