About the Role:
As a Paralegal in our client's Corporate and Commercial team, you will be responsible for providing invaluable legal support and undertaking critical company administration tasks and post-completion work. Reporting to the Partners, you will work closely with an Associate who will be your supervisor. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on a varied range of tasks and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities include:
? Handling company administration tasks such as Companies House filings, PSC registers, and updating company registers.
? Setting up and managing online data rooms, collaborating with clients and professionals to collate and review relevant materials.
? Supporting due diligence work and assisting with disclosure exercises.
? Drafting board minutes, shareholder resolutions, and simple agreements.
? Carrying out legal research and assisting with other general tasks within the corporate/commercial department.
About You:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and abilities:
?? Previous experience as a Corporate Paralegal for 1-2 years.
?? Proven experience working on high-value, complex M&A activity.
?? Excellent organisation skills and meticulous attention to detail.
?? Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
?? Ability to work independently, take instructions, and act proactively.
?? Demonstrated ability to conduct legal research efficiently.
?? Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
?? Flexibility in working hours and a friendly attitude!
