Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Wakefield who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent, and office-based position. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business where you will supervise an accounts team and report to the Head of Finance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce monthly management accounts
- Month end analysis of budgets, cost and accrued income
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers
- Complete month/period end tasks – journals, balance sheet reconciliations etc
- Stock reporting and analysis
- Review processes/systems and identify efficiencies
- Assist in cash flow forecasting and reporting
- Management of monthly payroll
- Assist in creating company forecasts and budgets
- Supervision of accounts staff
- Ensure all statutory reporting deadlines are met
- As hoc support to the Head of Finance
You will need to demonstrate:
- CIMA qualified (desirable)
- CIMA Part-qualified will be considered
- Advanced Microsoft Excell skills
- Knowledge of CIS regulations
- Sage 200 experience
- Experience of managing staff (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
