TECHNICAL PRE SALES CONSULTANT

- Locations: Hybrid in Southampton with occasional visits to client sites
- Salary: £55- 65k per annum
About the Role:
This Technical Pre-Sales Consultant role will assist the customers Virtual IT Director with the design and definition of new products, features and services based upon the existing and future product/services roadmap and ensuring that customer feedback is considered and reviewed. As a result, appropriate control and management of the design lifecycle is necessary to ensure consistent delivery to customers.
From time to time the Technical Pre-Sales Consultant will be required to assist in where advice and specialist on-boarding knowledge is required. In addition, the role will require delivery of training for colleagues, and customers.
Essential Expereince
1. Successful proven track record in design and delivery of technical projects to customers
2. Minimum of 24 months' work experience in a consultant's role in a managed service provider environment
3. Minimum of 12 months' work experience in a consultant's role providing time estimates to relevant parties
4. MCSE, VCP, CCNA or equivalent technical qualifications
5. Proven experience completing migrations to Microsoft Office 365 and Azure
6. Experience with Unified Communications, Voice networks and VOIP solutions
7. Proven experience designing and supporting complex networks
8. Proven ability in project planning and product management
9. Excellent computing and technical skills
10. Able to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels
11. Exceptional coordination and planning skills
12. Be able to acquire new knowledge and skills quickly and apply to business situations
13. Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
14. Knowledge and experience of Microsoft based solutions
15. Proven experience in customer deployments and supporting large scale project implementations
16. Extensive experience of installing and administrating MS Windows Server and Client technologies up to Windows 10 (minimum 48 months)
