Your new role
You will be responsible for assisting in the day to day management and smooth running of the packing department. You will maintain capacity, efficiency, yields and quality to meet customer supply, and with continued growth plans, ensure you are monitoring and improving processes on an ongoing basis. Leading a high-performing team, you will support the co-ordination of the workflow between departments, ensuring on-time deliveries, the highest quality levels and customer service. As with any FMCG environment, there are KPI's to meet and deliver, including quality, cost and delivery. You will help drive continuous improvement, challenge, mentor and coach the team, actively promoting a culture of Health & Safety.
This is a shift-based role working on a rotating pattern of early and lates Monday to Friday.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have gained experience in a food manufacturing environment with a good understanding of efficiency, yields, labour costs, waste and non-conformances. You will work well under pressure and in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. As a strong people leader, you will be able to manage and develop a high-performing team and demonstrate tangible and sustained KPI improvements.
