Proclaim developer role
Due to continued growth, our client are now seeking a Proclaim Developer to join their existing IT development team. Our client are a modern law firm who specialise in property law.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Proclaim Developer, ideally with experience within a similar conveyancing firm. Knowledge of conveyancing would be an advantage.
Duties will include but will not be limited to:
Advanced Workflow Development: Create sophisticated workflows from both extensive and minimal specifications. Ensure these workflows are efficient, user-friendly, and meet business requirements.
Proclaim Tables Management: Expertise in creating, using, and manipulating Proclaim tables for data organisation and management.
FETCHDATA and FETCHQUERY Proficiency: Fully confident in utilising FETCHDATA and FETCHQUERY functions for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
Third-Party Liaison: Confident in identifying and collaborating with third parties for issue resolution. Knowledgeable about who to approach and how to engage them effectively.
Time and Project Management: Excellent time management skills, with a focus on adhering to ticket SLAs and managing projects to meet deadlines.
Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication skills, capable of seeking help from team members, sharing concerns, and managing expectations.
Linked Fields Expertise: Fully understand, create, and manage linked fields, including manipulating data on linked cases.
Best Proclaim Practices: Deep understanding of best practices in Proclaim, including when and where to create maths, linked actions, or similar functionalities.
Task Server Management: Proficient in managing and debugging the task server for optimal performance.
Advanced Debugging and Ticket Resolution: Ability to debug and resolve tickets and user queries of mid to high difficulty.
Land Registry Integration: Comprehensive knowledge of all Land Registry integrations, including debugging and assisting staff.
Go Live Usage: Proficient in Import and Export functionalities, especially during Go Live phases.
Matter Archive and Case Management: Skilled in Matter Archive, Case Table Control, and Mass Case Delete functionalities.
Data Templates Management: Expertise in creating and managing data templates, including CSVs, XMLs, CDHs, and understanding all data descriptions.
Auto Routines: Capable of setting up and managing auto routines, including running code not associated with a specific case.
SQL Maintenance: Skilled in SQL maintenance, including running and manipulating SQL in maths.
Import/Export Expertise: Proficient in Import/Export functionalities, including understanding all Extra Instructions.
MIWH Fields Management: Adding fields to MIWH with appropriate naming conventions and best practices.
SMS Queue Maintenance: Manage and debug issues with SMS queues.
Proshut User Management: Skilled in managing Proshut users.
Option and System Matrix Maintenance: Proficient in Option Maintenance and managing the System Matrix.
System Parameter Maintenance: Ensure the integrity and optimal performance of system parameters.
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. (Preferred but not essential)
- Proven experience as a Proclaim Developer in the Conveyancing industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication abilities and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail
- SQL experience beneficial
- Understanding of other development code an advantage
- Agile working experience
- Prior attendance of Proclaim tech courses advantageous
