Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 plus bonus scheme and company car

Description:

Working for a company where people are their most valuable asset, the successful Head of Regional Sales will collaborate closely with the Area Sales Manager team, operating outside of London, to motivate and drive increased sales revenue. This role will emphasize enhancing the skills of the current ASM Team while also identifying, recruiting, and training new ASMs as needed.

The Head of Regional Sales role requires an individual who has in-depth knowledge of the UK architect and designer-led specification market, and a strong background in sales and man-management is essential.

Duties and responsibilities:

Lead and support the current ASM Team to optimize their sales potential

Inspire, develop, and train new ASM Team members

Collaborate with the Operating Board to establish annual sales targets for the ASM team, and monitor their performance against these targets throughout the financial year

Provide regular updates and KPI analyses to the Operating Board to track the ASM Team's performance

Partner with the Operating Board and Management Team to identify business improvements that can boost the ASM Team's sales potential, including implementing strategies to secure 'mega projects' across the UK

Collaborate with the Creative Director to effectively promote new product ranges with the ASM Team

Work with the Creative Director to organise events and sales promotion activities, coordinating these efforts with the ASM Team

Maintain limited direct sales relationships, with new relationships being transferred to the relevant ASM Team member for further development

Assist the ASM Team in resolving individual product or project issues as they arise, and work with the Commercial Director to handle customer disputes, with the authority to resolve such issues when necessary

Communicate clearly and consistently with the ASM Team, including regular one-on-ones and team meetings with all members, setting challenging objectives and targets that foster the growth of high-performing individuals, addressing performance issues promptly and effectively, and recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.

Experience required:

A strong desire to collaborate with the existing ASM Team to fully capitalize on sales opportunities

Proven ability to recruit, train, and retain new ASM Team members to expand regional sales potential

In-depth knowledge of the UK architect and designer-led specification market

Skill in identifying areas for improvement within both individual ASM members and the team as a whole, and in recommending and implementing plans to achieve these improvements

Capability to work closely with the Operating Board and Management Team to ensure the ASM Team's goals align with the company's overall strategic objectives

You will earn a starting salary of £80,000 - £90,000 plus bonus scheme, PMI and pension scheme, 25 days holiday, company car, phone and laptop.
