Site Engineer Opportunity - Rail Infrastructure

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer on behalf of a leading company within the rail infrastructure sector, based in the central belt of Scotland, This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team working on significant infrastructure projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set out, level, and survey sites for rail infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
- Interpret project drawings and specifications to ensure accurate and timely execution.
- Liaise with project managers and site teams to ensure all work is carried out to the highest quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets the required standards.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and provide technical guidance as needed.

Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer in rail, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in using surveying instruments such as total stations and GPS equipment.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and setting out processes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- CSCS card and relevant industry certifications.
