Quality Engineer – Automotive Sector, permanent career opportunity for an experienced quality engineer with automotive IATF 16949 certification and knowledge of ISO 9001:2015. Based in Wiltshire, this is a permanent, full-time post working Monday to Friday on a permanent day shift. Offering a salary range between £40,000 - £50,000 depending on skills and experience, this high-profile role seeks a responsible and committed Quality Engineer who can develop, implement, and manage quality assurance processes and procedures for this global manufacturer.

Ideally educated to Degree Level Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering), you will work in collaboration with the senior management team, production, and engineering teams to provide the necessary assurance that only the highest standards of quality are performed and achieved. Responsible for the design and implementation of all inspection and testing procedures, developing quality control plans, providing guidance and support to production staff in all areas of problem solving, root cause analysis, and corrective action.

As Quality Engineer you are responsible for analysing and evaluating the quality of automotive products and components across the business to ensure industry standards are retained. Using your technical expertise to develop and implement quality control processes and ensuring that the production of high-quality parts and components is delivered to a diverse customer base. You will be able to collate and analyse data to identify areas for improvement, working with suppliers to ensure that products meet the required quality standards and customer specifications. You will need to communicate effectively with other departments, producing complex reports and documentation using Excel and Word, with additional skills gained in Outlook and SharePoint.
