Internal Account Manager

A1 Personnel are recruiting for an Internal Account Manager on behalf of our client based in Basildon, a leading end-to-end contract electronics manufacturer.

Responsibilities :

  • Managing a small team of internal sales coordinators to maintain motivation and foster positive morale
  • Serve as the primary contact for the assigned customer portfolio
  • Facilitating clear communication between the sales team and customers to ensure effective interaction
  • Ensuring the customer is kept updated with the latest schedule of their order
  • Engaging with Production Management daily to optimise the efficiency of the production schedule.
  • Leading daily production meetings, and making amendments as required
  • Supplying customers with quotes for recurring orders
  • Responding promptly to customer enquiries and referring to the relevant department if necessary
  • Generating works orders as per the customer's schedule
  • Running monthly reports, flagging risks and potential financial losses

Requirements:

  • Experience managing or supervising a small team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior background in customer facing role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a positive attitude
  • Well-presented, polite, and tactful
  • Capacity to remain calm and collected in stressful scenarios
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team

Working Hours:

08:00 - 16:30 (Monday to Thursday) and 08:00 - 15:30 (Fridays)
