Role Outline
Your primary responsibility is to lead and manage the Customer Engagement team in your area. Your goal is to establish and maintain high performance levels within the team, ensuring the achievement of annual KPIs, objectives, and targets through exceptional customer service and engagement. You'll focus on driving customer engagement, whether customers use the phone for order placement or not, by exploring additional ways to support and engage them.
What It's Like to Do This Role
The role is dynamic and multifaceted. You'll collaborate with the Customer Engagement Controller and colleagues to provide the necessary tools and resources for the team. Coaching and training team members to enhance their skills and support their development will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you'll handle customer inquiries and issues, working closely with Channel Sales teams, Operations (Transport & Warehouse), and Accounts Receivable to prioritize customer care and engagement.
Key Relationships
Customer Engagement Team: You'll lead and manage this team.
Channel Teams (Field & Accounts): Collaborate with these teams to ensure seamless customer interactions.
Operations (Warehouse & Transport): Coordinate with them to address customer-related matters.
IT: Work together to optimize processes and tools.
Accounts Receivable (AR): Liaise with them for financial aspects related to customer engagement.
Quality Control (QC): Ensure adherence to quality standards.
Sales Data Admin: Collaborate on data-related tasks.
Marketing Leads: Align with them to enhance customer engagement strategies.
