Now, as we go through an exciting period of growth, we are looking for a Horticulture Co-ordinator to join our team on a full-time basis for a fixed-term contract until March 2026.

The Role

As a Horticulture Co-ordinator, you will assist with planning events, uploading information and communicating with clients, recording activity undertaken using the Farming Connect online systems.

Farming Connect is a Knowledge Transfer, Innovation and Advisory Service for farming and forestry businesses in Wales funded through Welsh Government. Specifically, your role will involve delivering and co-ordinating the Farming Connect Horticulture project.

Managing files and records, you will ensure that all project documentation, spreadsheets and databases are well-organised, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

You will support the Project Manager by preparing monthly funding claims, performance summaries, and future projections, ensuring that all financial and performance data is accurate and timely.

Additionally, you will:

- Provide general administrative support to the project staff
- Enter and maintain data on BAS and BOSS (Farming Connect online systems)
- Liaise with training providers and support stakeholder delivery partners
- Assist in delivering the Communications Plan by actively promoting the project on social media

About You

To be considered as a Horticulture Co-ordinator, you will need:

- Experience of working in a customer service environment
- The ability to co-ordinate and support project activity in the horticulture sector across Wales
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office 2010 applications - Word, Excel and Outlook and social media
- Excellent communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- To be a team player
