A well known university based in London has embarked on a project to improve the Admissions process and workflow for application and pre-enrolment activities and seeking to recruit an Integrations Specialist with strong experience of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to work on this time sensitive implementations project.
The successful candidate would be responsible for developing robust solutions with appropriate validation and error handling within the College's existing framework within Google Cloud Platform re-using existing datasets where possible, minimising the performance impact on downstream and upstream systems and ensuring the efficient exchange of data between systems and robust integrity of data. This will also involve extracting further data from the College's student record system in addition to existing datasets to supplement data exchange requirements between platforms making use of existing architectural principles.
A challenging timeline is in place for this to be achieved, with the College seeking to go live in mid October. An integration prototype is needed to be in place by mid September to enable detailed end to end integrated systems testing to begin.
The College requires a proactive self-starter who is able to work independently within a hybrid working model. Attendance on site will be required from time to time for key project and design meetings. Flexibility in availability within a working day will be required including after hours where support for key integrations in this project is needed.
